Sound quality is my top priority but sometimes I just want to belt out sine waves all day and beat down the block. This what I bought to fill that bill.

It has a 3" diameter D2 aluminum flatwind with a wind height of 3" which means it's a suspension limited design. If I recall correctly PAP has given this a rating of 2k RMS but I'm betting that's conservative. Single 9.25" stiff spider.

This also has a removable top assembly so if you have any need to transfer the motor or top, this can be done. It has a four bolt pattern and uses allen heads.

A few specs: (series)

89 dB 1W/1M

Fs 36hz

Qms 8.63

Qes .77

Qts .7

Vas 2.9cu.ft

Re 3.7ohms

BL 23.77 tm

Here is a link to some photos of it being built by PAP:

This is new and has never been mounted yet. I've had about 425 watts through each coil in free-air to get an idea of it's potential and there's no doubt it's a monster. Probably 1 hour total time on the driver for testing. 10/10 mechanical and cosmetic.

$400 plus shipping.

I take care of PayPal. Thanks guys.

O.O
I likez. Estimated power rating? Trades?
2K RMS if I recall. Maximum thermal should be quite high with eight layers of aluminum on a 3" former and a wind height of 75mm.

Prefer the cashmoney. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

very nice sub iv built one very close to that one. what do you think of the e9 spider you used on it and i love that pap cone glws
I didn't build this particular driver but when it first arrived I couldn't believe how stiff the spider was. Keep in mind I am not an SPL guy so I like soft spiders. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif But with that said, I'm well impressed with how it sounds. It's far quieter under high excursion that I expected it to be.

You didn't mention this driver for a trade for the ones i have. Plus cash on my side.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Yeah, at that point I was unsure if I wanted to let go of this. Plus I didn't know if this would be the type of driver you were looking for, I don't know how it compares to the ones you had.

I would prefer money at the moment but may I take some time to consider your offer?

Its fine to take some time. Most of my subs are 10s the tc/eclipse's a couple 10' fi ssd and the one 12 btl. I have most of the stuff sold that was going to fund some new drivers(a 18 or two were what i was thinking of going to). I didn't even get a chance to build a new box to use the eclipse's yet. Let me know what your thinking later in the week. I'm going on training untill Wednesday for work. Hope everything else is going good for you.

What was the recommend box size and type for this driver also.
Well, it has a high Qts and a Vas of about 3cu.ft. so for me that means a sealed enclosure of between 2.5cu.ft. and 5cu.ft. depending on available power and intended use/abuse, but I know guys will put these in vented enclosures for the purposes of SPL, so probably something like 4 to 5cu.ft. tuned to your liking.
