Taxing pot could become a political toking point

Marijuana is too easy to grow yourself, thus it will never be fully legalized. Wich IMO is a good thing because that would be taking money out of my/peoples pockets.
Making booze is easy also. but it's not a big problem because why go to prison over boot legging when you can just go down to the liquor store. I imagine it would be the same way with weed.

Carrots are too easy to grow yourself, yet people buy them at the grocery store all the time.
Your canadian I dont expect you to understand how the world works, how aboot you just go play some hockey EH BUDDY? ?

I think cannabis is greatly impairing for novice users. It is different for someone who is experienced.
I thought about that earlier. The only idea I could come up with was that a person who has violated a traffic law would be charged accordingly, whether they were high or not, so the ability to test for cannabis impairment might not be critical. Or you could argue that a variety of field sobriety tests might work. Either way, that is a bit of a sticky situation.
This.

Great argument. Try again.

Canadians sure don't know anything about cannabis. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I have no idea what your post is supposed to mean. Can you try re-phrasing it?

My point is that it is far more convenient to run down to the store and grab a dimebag than it is to grow your own personal plant. If you're growing on a large scale, that can be commercial anyways.

In any small town, there is a zero tolerance law.

Our county doesn't even have a breathalyzer. So getting stopped with the faintest smell of beer on your breath = DUI.

You have NO CHANCE to prove that you only had one. No chance to take a blood test. And you cannot fight it with an attorney in court, as our judge will hear none of that shit.

Getting caught with weed is at most 2 days in county jail, and fine of $250.

Getting caught DUI will be max jail and fine, up to 11-29 in TN, and $5000.

Eh...
See with alcohol we have BAC levels for legality, driving, etc...

Now for marijuana, we have none of that.

Thoughts?

This is a good point. Also, I remember getting lost a lot driving around

stoned, even in my own neighborhood; what about the cost to our

environment due to increased fossil fuel consumption??

And is the fast food industry prepared for the increased demand?

Nobody's going to risk going to jail buying it from a dealer like they do now when they can just go to a store and buy it.

It wouldn't even have the novelty factor of buying moonshine. If it was legalized dealers would be out of luck. They would have to start stealing scrap metal like the tweakers or something...

Neither does one drink. But you still get screwed over it.
Your dumb. I can smoke bowl after bowl blunt after blunt and drive fine. Can you drive fine after taking shot after shot drinking beer after beer? No cause you would get sick and puke. Have you ever got sick and puked from smoking?
