Tax Cuts

As E-crack said, what goes around comes around. What did you think Proximity, that we could just get our cake and eat it too? I'm breaking things down to the foundation here. Obviously your goal is to permanently remove all taxes since all I ever hear you talk about is continuously reducing taxes. So what happens on the other end, when we reduce paid taxes? Why do we even pay taxes? What if us paying taxes helps reduce other costs? Hmmm...
Proximity sees every Republican as a Fox news reporter, when in reality he is the rough equivalent of of a Fox news reporter if they were obviously democrats.

A little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif here in case someone would like to mention anything here...Despite the fact that my whole family is republican and my uncle is a republican senator, I have ZERO bias towards either party. In fact, had I been of age to vote, I probably would have voted for Obama. I probably would have regretted that too, but that's besides the point.
Your too young to have any relevant opinions //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Except for that thing called the constitution.

Bobb I still don't know what you are arguing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

In 1916 the Supreme Court ruled in Brushaber (and the cases bundled with it), that the 16th Amendment gave Congress no new taxing power (a direct tax on labor without apportionment would be a new taxing power, not granted by the taxing clauses of the original Constitution), and that “income” within the constitutional limitations of the 16th Amendment is corporate gain or profit, and passive and “unearned” income from real estate and investments.

LRN2 read the constitution and do a little research.

Seems that before we had a privately owned central bank we did just fine without direct taxes on labor...and most of the other taxes.

Also I like how the "tax the rich" crowd ignores things like sales tax, tax on cigarettes, liquor, gasoline, phone service, etc. THOSE are the taxes that disproportionately hurt the people who can afford them least.

AND to quote Leona Helmsley "Only little people pay taxes". The real elites don't actually pay much of anything, these "tax the rich" schemes generally are most destructive to farmers, small business owners, and such.

Go on with your little "left vs. right" punch and judy show....some day perhaps a few more people will wake up to the fact that besides rhetoric, at the end of the day it's just two different piles of the same **** and none of them give two ***** about anything but their own power and wealth.

You've been thanked.

I completely disagree. What motive do the democrats have to pass the dream act? What motive do the Democrats have in guaranteeing that insurance companies actually have to provide coverage and can't drop people for getting sick? What motive did the Democrats have for passing social security or medicare or the minimum wage or workplace rights or union rights or civil rights?

Both parties have egg on their face, there is no doubt, but I truly believe that Democrats have the interests of the average person at heart, and while all politicians certainly look out for their own interests, the Democrats still care about the average person.

And this isn't some partisan bias I'm basing this off of, I'm simply basing this of history and facts. I look at what the Republicans have done and I look at what the Democrats have done and I base my decisions off of that.

You know, I am going to have to put an end to your obvious trollin' at some point... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif

Prox there are golden eggs scattered all over those policies from going "green" to health care, in fact there were several democratic staffers who seemed to make a lot of short term money in these investments. Heck a few made a ton of money on the TSA scanners including mega democratic supporter George Soros.

As far as democrat or republican goes, if someone does something good great but as soon as they change and do something bad get them out. There is no reason for these politicians to hold 1 office for 18+ years.
