Which one is better? I know the Tantrum is an older line, but is it higher quality than the octane?

Was the Octane a replacment for the Tantrum or is it a lower line than the Tantrum was?

What would be better, an Octane 4x50(Octane 5.0:4) or a Tantrum 4x50(T400.4)

I would say they both are great, but I like the tantrums better.

not a big fan of the neons or fancy logos myself...but even the lower level of PG should still be very good...I heard one at a local shop, it was wanging a W6v2 pretty well...

So would a Tantrum 250.2 to a PG ti10 sub be better than a Xtant A3001 to a JL 10w0? I looking for mostly SQ.

Also, anyone know how to get that ti10d deal on thezeb.com?

Sounds nice to me. Jmac, do you remember the size of the enclosure you made for that sub? Also, what were the fronts running at? I'm thinking of 4x50. Will the 250.2 overpower a 4x50?

Since tantrum is discontinued you might have a hard time finding them new. Used amps are usually fine. But I woulden't trust used speakers unless you know how to check them for misuse. If you want new tantrum speakers and can't find tanrum the octain ZR are almoast identical.

i seriously love those amps. Shame they discontinued them.
