Would these sound nice ran infinite baffle in the rear deck? They seem to be a nice little woofer, and from what I've read over at RoE, they perform well. I'm thinking about either those ran infinite baffle in my rear deck, or in a small enclosure in my trunk somewhere. How much power you think I should send them if I run them IB? How about in an enclosure? Thanks.

?
TB makes many, many drivers...link to the ones you're talking about? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Hahahahahahaha, oh boy, it's been a long day. I totally forgot to link it...

Here they are. Sorry about that...

Qts seems a bit low for IB...and where the power handling is low anyway, I have a feeling you'll quickly be reaching their mechanical limits.

Going with small boxes may be your best bet, and with a Vas of .41 cu. ft, they aren't going to be large at all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Alright, I'll look into it some. I'm going to try to conserve as much trunk space as possible. Maybe I can figure out a nice stealthy install. Or, even, mount them in the rear, but seal them somehow.... Anybody ever try this?

that TB 6.5 would not do well IB..

you'd mechanically break it pretty quick... coil hits backplate with windings still in the gap...

small box sealed, or ported.. they'll do great...

have u taken a look at the eu-700 from elemental designs? i got 2 at 50 bucks a piece
Yeah, I have looked into these. Are you running them as a midrange for some compnents? Or are you using them strickly for bass? How do you have these setup? How much power are you sending them(RMS)? I think I'd be using mine strickly for bass, to save space. However, further down the road I might want to use them for some components. I'm doubtful on that one though.

strictly bass. ib design. covered up my 6x9 speaker hole with baffle and mounted the eu-7700 in them. when i was using them, i was giving them 200 watts daily and no problems. yes i did say 200 watts, more than the rms wattage.

How do they sound? Do they give decent bass?
