2 MD2's at 1 ohm is more power than 1 20.1. That's nearly 4k watts RMS. Also they only pull 120A a piece, so figure 240amps for the pair. There's no point in having a 20.1 just to run it at 1 ohm, it makes the same power as the MD2. Only reason people use 20.1's is they're stable down to like .085 ohm. Also they pull a lot more current than the MD2. For 1 ohm a piece. I say just go with the MD2's.
