Bleh, I'd have to level match them, 1 for each coil. They would only run at 2 ohms each, would be a waste. I was hoping to strap 2 and have them each at .5 to the shocker Maybe I'll just use 1 and wait for a 40.1.

Won't the 20.1's? This is enough power for me right now anyway. Was just going to pick it up for later. Once the electrical overhaul comes, I'm changing eq. Still deciding whether I should fix some dents/repaint the car or buy more audio eq with the next paycheck.

20.1 will but its rare to strap and run that low for daily.

Alright guys.

Do you think one 20.1(.5ohms) will out do 2 Md2s(1ohm)??

Or should I get 2 new Md2s that are strappable to 2 ohms?

Or should I get 2 20.1s strapped to 2ohms(dont think the L7s can take .5 strapped)?

Or something else???

2 MD2's at 1 ohm is more power than 1 20.1. That's nearly 4k watts RMS. Also they only pull 120A a piece, so figure 240amps for the pair. There's no point in having a 20.1 just to run it at 1 ohm, it makes the same power as the MD2. Only reason people use 20.1's is they're stable down to like .085 ohm. Also they pull a lot more current than the MD2. For 1 ohm a piece. I say just go with the MD2's.

20.1 will be at .5

I ran one md2 at .5 and was gonna add another,thus having to run one per sub,so it would have been 2 Md2s @ 1 ohm vs 1 20.1 @.5.

Ive been told 20.1s do 2600 @.5 and 3800@2 ohms strapped.

We dont know what the new 06 Md2s will do strapped at 2ohms????

Wish I did and they wont be out for a month or so.
