Taming tweeters with alpine 9887 running non active.

You only get bass and treble settings if you run Imprint and load the 2 curves into the H/U. The tradeoff there is once the curves are loaded, no more access to the parametric EQ.

I run Imprint and I run passive as well.

If you don't use Imprint, the reason you don't have bass and treble is you now have full control over all of the frequencies with the built in parametriic EQ. You should be able to completely tame the tweeters with the EQ. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Also, do you have any tweeter attenuation controls on the cdt crossover? My Polks do.
yep look for a jumper or a different terminal on the tweeter side of the crossover marked "0" "-1" "-3" yada yada //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
