Taming tweeters with alpine 9887 running non active.

I have a set of cdt 3 way speakers running passive, I do not want to run active as of yet. So how can I tame these tweeters and calm them down?

There is the thing the switch is set to non active but I do not have treble and bass options in my settings.

I'm not talking about the treble and bass setting, i'm talking about the EQ

You only get bass and treble settings if you run Imprint and load the 2 curves into the H/U. The tradeoff there is once the curves are loaded, no more access to the parametric EQ.

I run Imprint and I run passive as well.

If you don't use Imprint, the reason you don't have bass and treble is you now have full control over all of the frequencies with the built in parametriic EQ.
