Awhile back DJ and someone else hit a 145 legal with a single 12 with 800 watts, and the box was tuned at 38 hz, so not a one hit wonder either. This would be a mix of loud and sq. You can get them for 328 shipped direct from AQ.

They are not an SQ driver, but i disagree with the above statement that they dont sound good. Just gotta tune em low.

dd 1512 or 2512 eaither of which would pwn a type rrrrrrrrrrr. but dont get me wrong, the r's are an ok choice too.

I don't know, it wasn't my setup. But they(15's) did high 152's outlaw in a non-walled suv.

Off of Tommyk's 2500.1 @ 1 ohm the Type R and DD 9515 do the same score...

I haven't compared the two, but the results are a little closer than what some people may think.
