taking the basket off the motor, cant do it!

welp, my RL-P getting ****ed up on the way here so now im sending dragnix just the motor back, and i cant get the **** basket off the motor..any tips?

i already took out the screws too so its just the glue resisting

aybe a little acetone or laquer thinner,

or a razor,

or just pull or throw it out a window

Try a small amount of acetone/lacque thinner like above poster mentioned.....my old T4 that I had to re-cone, I had a hell of a time getting the basket from the motor.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif acetone helped...ftw.

tap it with a hammer and it ought to come right off.

smack the baset on the ground. face the sub torwards the cement motor up and smack that bish. thats how i got my basket off one of my subs

hammer worked, i was just trying to pry it off, it wasent working.
