Taking off Aeroports

UM my PP weren't as wide in the back flare as in the front flare. I was able to cut a hole big enough for it to fit through and still have plenty of material to screw the front flare/trim into. So mine was able to come in and out, until I was was dead set on it and kitty haired and bondoed over the lipt when flushing it in my FG box.

Tried getting mine out today and they won't come off. I hope I don't have to throw these away.

Could I just cut the back part of the flare off and buy the back flare new?
