taillight paint issues

Someone help please. 2 coats of spray tint went on fine, my issue is the uv resistant clear coat has orange peeled with little indentations. How do I get rid of the ugliness? prior to this I had 6-8 coats of black and 2 coats of clear that went on just fine, lights were too dark so I sanded and used goof off to bring back original red lights.

wet sand with some fine paper.. 2000grit i believe..

alright, then put more clear coat on?

no.. polish them clean to get the debri off wipe them down then yes

If it doesn't work for you, I think the film tint works better then the spray on
