Alright, I think I'm gunna get a Tablesaw. I'm not looking for anything fancy or extreme. Just doing a few builds here and there.

I was thinking of buying a Craftsman from Sears, so if anything ever happens I can take it back and be like, "NEW ONE, BISH!"

I was thinking of spending about $200 bucks or so.

Maybe this one:

I don't really know the difference between table saws other than motor power... or is that the only difference?

I'm not gunna use it a lot... just for maybe two boxes and a few desks.

Yea, you'll be happy if you spend a bit more and get a good table saw...got mine that you see in all of my threads for like 660, shipped..and it has been phenomenal...I would go with delta personally

Don't go cheap on a table saw if you plan on using it much.

If you build the occasional box, just build a jig for your skil-saw and go about your business.

Back when I used to build and sold online, all I had was a skil-saw. I built alot of people some very nice boxes w/ that saw. W/ the right jig, you can build a box just as fast w/ a skil-saw. A table saw will help w/ smaller cuts though, but handling a full sheet on one of those little saws is a *****.

Before you purchase from Sears with the idea of it be a free replacement you might want to double check, alot of times that only applies to their handtools...

that Delta is badass.

Yea, I would go for that delta but I would go for the model without the side extension on it unless youre going to cut alot of bigger stuff...mine is just like that minus the extension and its fantastic

Or you could always make your own.

I got number 1.Looked at 2 but I didn't like the big bulky storage underneath. And 3 is just like 1 but has a cheap ass flimsy fold-up stand that makes it portable. It didn't feel safe when I was messing with it at the store so I didn't get it.The one I got isn't to heavy and is pretty easy to get in and out of the garage to work outside.Pretty accurate cuts nice wide expandable table top.Works great for me!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Weren't you the dude who was broke as fvck and livin off like 200 bucks till christmas? Did you get a job?
Indeed I did, sir. Architectural Intern at a *GASP* Architect Firm.

My brother's also pitching in some money because I told him I'd build him a desk.

EDIT::

And as for you other people, I told you, I'm not using it much. I'm not spending $300+ dollars on something I'll use once a month at most.
