I think table saws are useless unless you have a full sized table. Its hard to get an accurate cut on a 2*4' sheet without the fence shifting. Forget about trying to get a 4*8' sheet on that little table.
A circular saw and guide (straight scrap of MDF c-clamped to your sheet) is the best way to go IMO, one less thing to clutter the garage also.
You can get good results with a circular saw and a guide, but for repeatability you can't beat a table saw. Yes a bigger table is a plus but not an absolute requirement. Managing a 2'x4' sheet is easy. I have larger table but I still have the full sheets cut into more managable sizes wherever I buy them for the simple reason that I don't have a truck. I also have my router table integrated into one wing of my saw table saving some space there. Space is at a premium in my "2 car" garage but having a table saw is very much worth the tiny bit of "clutter" that it presents.
