I have full sized truck with a cut through, so a box does not matter. I want to put 4 15's into my truck. I am looking mainly for SPL, but SQ is fairly importatant. I listen mostly to Techno and Hard Rap (ie. David Banner, Ying Yang, lots of bass). New to audio word. Currently have 2 P3's in my little truck, not to bad. For my new truck, I want tons. Maybe even enough to compete in SPL. I have three great shops in town, each one deals in one of these three. Please help me figure out what the hell I want. Not enough exp to really decide fully on my own. Thanks!!!

where are you located in florida?

dont go with shops, do some homework and learn to do things youself, and with all the money saved from install fees and tax and shop cost and bullshit, you can pocket it or turn around and put it back into your system for better/more equipment.

if you have unlimited space, id suggest looking into RE, Fi, DD...things lie that. Kicker and whatnot are good, but just know there are numerous other options out there. Either with more power, better output, better spl..etc. ist goes on and on. just dont limit yourself to the big companies just getting into it. explore.

start out with telling us how much power you plan on running. 1k? 2000watts? 4-5000? 10000? better than picking your subs first, find your powerplant (amp) and plan out further from there. that way you know how much power your running and can get a sub(s) to match, and what coil config. and dont forget about electrical upgrades. youll only put out as much power as your system will allow. so think about upgrading that also (bigger/more effient battery, bigger alt, big 3 upgrade)..etc

^^so what would you like to do?

I want to run about 4000watts, that is why I narrowed down to those three types, other than I can get them readily available in town for real cheap. My vehicle is a 2006 Dodge Ram, cut through has already been done. So the entire bed of the truck is fair game. Power wise, I have already got my alternator rebuilt and have an extra Stinger battery to hook up. Not to sure if I really need a Cap or not, heard they aren't that great all in all. I still plan to do the "Big 3" upgrade for my wires. Do to height requirements, bed only being about 20" tall/deep, I don't beleive there is enough room for 18's, another reason I chose 15's.

Oh god, I really don't even know. I told the guy I was putting a huge audio system in and he said he knew what to do. I forgot to even see how much it can handle. I heard a lot of good things about him and his shop, so I am sure he did something good.....but I will have to find out. Also, the 4k watts is just for the subs. I plan on adding two more amps roughly to mids and highs after I add them into the cab of the truck.
