anyone have any experience with a JBL GTO1504D?

I have one 15" JBL GTO1504D and I was wondering how much power you think it could take? It's rated at 300WRMS, but I hear of people giving it much more than that.. How much power do you think i could give it constantly?

I had a 12 jbl that was rated at either 250 or 300rms needless to say I gave it about 450+rms and burned it up..I wouldn't go over 350rms.
