T10001BD or KX1200.1

the 1200.1 only hits 1200wrms at 1 ohm.... your better off with something else.... btw my l7 is at 2ohm getting 740wrms (birth certificate figure) off a 600.1, i feel it could prolly take a bit more
take your amp for instance, the 600.1, rated at 600 watts, correct...so your 740 watts, 140 more than you bought. That's close to a 25% increase over rated power. Now the KX12001, rated at 1200 into a 1 ohm load, and the same 25% is close to 1500. And that's really close to what they do birthsheets. The poster has two L7 12's, both DVC 4, so there's the 1 ohm load. Perfect, 1500 divided by 1500 (or so) is 750 watts each...perfect.

Now if you have a single DVC 2,(hard to read if you mean it's at 2 ohm, or is a 2 ohm)but if it is a DVC 2, you either have it wired to a 1 or 4 ohm load. The KX6001 needs and wants a 2 ohm load, so if you have yours wired to a 4 ohm load, hence why it's not as loud as you might expect.

I think the KX12001 is a good choice... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Polecat's opinion for the win,

Buy the Kicker, birth in the 14xx watt range, Nice amps, and plenty of power for that pair of L7's at 1 ohm. Let us know how much you pay and how it turns out.
