T-nuts ****, drywall screws strong enough?

and im done with t-nuts. theyre just too much of a pain in the *** to use. and its not like im competeing and need to take my sub out all the time.

ya i had a **** of a time with them i wont be using them again on my subs but if u use weird types of port plugs..they come in very handy...

i used t nuts on my box in my jeep and the danm things wouldnt grab and so i torn them out and nailed in blocks behind the holes and used drywall screws. now that i am thinking about it i could have left them in place and drilled a hole in the block and sandwhiched the tnut in there.

edit: i dont know how i missed the downfiring part, it should hold....for a good while at least. Try not to take the sub out again.
