ive already finished my sub box. and i planned on using t-nuts and bolts again like i did on my L7 enclosure. so i get them all in there, and, OF COURSE, JL has to be ******* with the design of there subs. the d@mn screw holes are under the surround making it like 5 mil times harder to get in. well i nearly crossthreaded the first friggin screw. so i tried again, and got 2 in. on the 3rd, i cross threaded and the t-nut tore through the MDF!!!!!!!! WTF!? so i take all the f*ckin t-nuts out and throw em in the trash. then i used course thread drywall screws. my sub if firing downward and weighs nearly 60 lbs. do you think these drywall screws will be strong enough to hold her?
