I assume that your last post was sarcastic, but if not, I didn't mean low quality (like a winter beater car), rather a setup that is good for a daily driver car (not optimized for comp SPL, nor SQ, but a good compromise). I did compete with this sub though and it gets loud in the right tuned box, but in a lower tuned box it makes a great daily sub ( I must say I was suprised at how good it sounded when I listened to it daily for a little in a high tuned SPL box too). I don't have any vids, but I do have a few pics.
It was first in my 94' Grand Cherokee. I don't remember the exact box specs, but it was tuned to like 42hz for comps. It was run off a DEI 1100D and it did real well for that power.
Sorry for the huge pics!
My current car that the sub is in is an 04' Audi A4 Ultrasport. I made the box with swappable ports (IIRC tuned to 32 daily and like 47ish for comps). It's running off of a Cadence DCA1600 and does killer on that power as well. The 32hz tune is KILLER for daily BTW, low, loud, decent transient response.
With the daily port
With the comp port.
Good sub, with 2 12's ported daily you'll be plenty loud
