Well I realized im not getting a blazer... But most likely a accord. Soo, I have a Hifonics TX1505 and was thinking of getting a 18 SX. IIRC the SX is teh terrible at getting low. So what do you think would be a good size box/tuning with 1100 RMS.

Search FTL. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I think you'd be better off with a 15 IMHO. Not enough space to work with to get an 18 in the proper enclosure.
With a 15, look somewhere between 3-4 cubes tuned in the very low 30's.

I have more than too much room. And I want a 18 w/o question.

Too bad you wont get 1100w.
Why do you say its bad at getting low?
No I will. And I read a thread where everyone in it said it couldn't go low to save it's life. No one said otherwise.

18 looks good @ 8.5cF 33Hz with 100"sq. of port.
Is that specific to this sub or an 18 in general?

trial & error is the only way to find out.
Not when it comes to $250 subwoofers it isn't. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

wtf...what does the price of a woofer have to do with it, only your time and cost of materials for a box matters
