Switching out the RFX-8250

Im thinking about switching out my Rockford Fosgate RFX-8250 (Denon-made HU) for an Eclipse AVN6600 to gain DVD playback, Navi, and integrated iPod use when needed. My question is will the sound quality be greatly degraded by making the switch? I know Denon has been known for SQ HUs but will it make that much of a noticible difference (RFX-8250 to AVN6600) in a daily driver not destined for competitions? I know that SQ is subjective but just looking for general opinions. Thanks

I think you'll be fine. Don't see it being that HUGE of a difference. Though I think eventually you may miss the Denon/RF hybrid thingie.

You probably won't hear much difference with Aux sources. But with CD playback you will definitely be taking a step down.
