I woulda for one found a new/better place to mount the SAZ1500 and definetly got a D2 woofer???? Why even spend the money on the SAZ1500 and wire it to 2ohms????? You never even got to see everything you paid for to begin with!!!!

I have a truck with very limited space...Driver seat has an amp under it, passenger seat has amp and backset has subwoofer box. Behind back seat is nowhere big enough to put an amp.

I got the 1500 b/c if I ever wanted more, I would have it...I dont see a prob with getting an overpowered amp...Its better than having an underpowered amp.

something has to be wrong with the wiring, you can't honestly say switching from a sundown to an AQ and suddenly it's not louder due to a small power difference.

Nothing has changed....Unplugged Sundown and plugged up AQ...There really is a HUGE difference and its really bugging me...Im ready just to sell it.

I meant as far as wiring, some wires may be loose, could be a faulty amp?

Correct nothing wrong with it at all. If you are screwed on space why not look into the Alpine pdx 1000. Thing will **** near fit in both hands. You can also bump the fuses up on those to do more power.

How many volts are your pre out on the head unit??

How did you set your gain when using the Sundown? Do the same for the AQ.

I'm the one who traded with him and I'm pretty sure it's a malfunctioning bass knob and not actualy clipping. Give me a call tomorrow brandon and we'll work it out.

The Sundown does not have a clipping indicator correct? You may have been clipping it and not known it. You will be louder when you clip:fyi:

It really shouldn't take too long to do it and I 99.9% guaruntee that the amp isn't clipping though the indicator light says it does.
