Do a search on http://www.pasmag.com They did a legnthy reveiw on their D Class amp. Its supposed to be able to do 1500w at 1 ohm, the most the reveiwer was able to get out if was 1300+ watts. Which still isnt bad for the cost. Here is a pic of the board that they tested:
Not a very symetrical looking board but still has what I look for. ei lots of wire loops on the torroids and plenty of caps. Then of course there is the cool looks to factor in and the fact that not everyone on the block has one.
The guys/competitors over at http://www.termpro.com do bench testing and post results. Usually for popular brands only. Several of the member on this board post over there too.
Im at work right now and cant look up the review on http://www.pasmag.com but if I remember correctly they bench tested the amp at both 12v & 14v, also stated the efficiency.
