swiss audio 10s in box on craigs.. what to offer

i talked to this dude about his swiss audio 10s in a prefab that i was interested in for a buddy. i like that they have fat surrounds (sexxyyy) and jesse (revrider) has had one of these before and he liked it but this dude is askin too much. hes sayin something like 3 hundies or 250 for the subs in box.. what should i offer him? i think the company is discontinued but not sure. any input?

I think swiss audio was an audiobahn spin off company. I'm pretty sure audiobahn is gone now. I wouldn't offer him anything for the subs until you get a look at the magnet on them. For all you know they have a huge foam surround and a stamped steel frame with a 40 oz magnet. Even if they are decent I wouldn't offer him anywhere near what he seems to be asking. Maybe(big maybe) 200 for the subs,box, and amp but I doubt I'd even pay that for some swiss audio.

yeah i figured out that bahn made them but idk exactly what model these are so i probably wouldnt do anything unless its a steal

ask the seller to take them out the box and take some pics. then offer accordingly

alright i checked them out.. they were double stacked .75" slugs it looked like with a "kevlar feeling" cone and a pretty big spider.. woven tensels, push button terminals, and maybe a 2.5" coil but maybe not. ill look for it or a bahn sub that is similar

Great subs, dont let the Bahn name fool u on these. I had 1 12" that i regret selling. They get plenty loud and sound good. You cant find these anymore, id grab em. Price a bit high though...
