Got a problem. I get a constant sweep between about 20 hz and up to maybe 3khz but only on AM radio regardless of if the engine is running or not.
I run a kx600.1 and a kx350.4. The sweep is seems to be coming from the 600 as when i puss the fuses it stops. My antenna is in the trunk with it so i was wondering if the amp could be throwing some interference out that would screw up my AM band. The sweep is definitely in the signal as it will pass the x-overs between amps and i can kill some frequencies with my HU as well as being able to control the volume of it.
Any idea? Are there any components in the amp that should be shielded? Or is it a mean little porcupine trying to annoy me?
