oh well you did not leave anything for us to help withOriginally posted by Goddyd4me dvc - has 2 pos and 2 neg terminas....more wiring possiblities
svc - has 1 pos and 1 neg terminal......less wiring possibilities
Except that SVC is usually 4ohm and only runs 4ohm (on a single speaker, can't you wire 2 together for 2 ohm? or only for 8..).. On DVC, you get 2 ohm or 8 ohm.. can't you also run 4ohm on a lot of DVCs by only hooking up one set of PosNeg? Does that depend on the woofer? I immagine that it 1/2s the RMS too since only one of the coils is running.. or is that wrong....Originally posted by denim oh well you did not leave anything for us to help with
you dont want to just hook up one voice coil. I remember when I bought my first subs, some 10w3s it came with a huge piece of orange paper proclaiming "DO NOT JUST HOOK UP ONE VOICE COIL"Originally posted by Savant Except that SVC is usually 4ohm and only runs 4ohm (on a single speaker, can't you wire 2 together for 2 ohm? or only for 8..)..
