I just built a new sealed box for an older RE Audio 10" SE sub. I've had this sub for almost 10 years with no problems. When I hooked everything up, I heard an air leak. I thought it was coming from between the box and the sub so I put a gasket on the back of the sub basket. I tried it again and no luck. After about the 4th time of removing the sub, I played the sub free air. That's when I found it. The rubber surround has the air leak at the 5 o'clock position. The surround is not ripped or torn. It is just not secured (about 1") to the basket. I looked the rest of the surround over and saw where another spot might come loose (but is good for now). I'm going to order some glue from Parts Express to fix it. My question is do I just fix the 1 spot or do I remove the whole surround and risk tearing it?
