nothin really. JL makes really good products, only downside is that they cost so much, that why many people prefer brahamas, and xxx. altho compared to the 9500 xbl^2 makes a big difference.

Well its true Adire owns the technology, they have a patent. But Im sure you can find plenty of valuable info about the technology in places besides their website. The search button on this board would be one place to start.

just like george said nothing other than price. the JL are very good subs just to expensive.

Do you mean the dd9500 series, or mtx 9500?

IMO, I wouldnt say that they are superior to the dd9500 series in spl. But definatley in sound quality. But again, part of that is box dependant.
