i am either going to get a 15" super x-treme or a jl audio 12w6v2.

which one is better for spl, clarity, and overall hard hitting?

which amp should i get?

Once in a while an easy question comes along...I like these...the Super X-treme by a LONG shot.

hey man, the shocker will outbang the jl by a long shot, shockers can handle alot and alot of power, u can run a d2 straight to one shocker, try that on a w6 and that thing will blow up lol, naw jl is raw, but i think the shocker will outbang it in the right enclosure with the right power anyday, i got 2 of the 15" original extremes right now and im pleased, the shocker super holds like 2000/rms, they say on the site 900rms each coil which would be 1800rms, but thats only because of warranty issues, ive been told they can handle 2500rms/5000peak, wouldnt doubt it, i know they bang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so which amp should i run the shocker on? would the jbl bp1200.1 be enough or the audiobahn a8001d? those are the ones i am currently looking at.

im running shocker extremes...even in a shitty box they will blow the w6s away for loudness....but if money and extreme quality is a concern go jl...new woofers are nice looking if that counts for anything..
