Super Horns ?????

The problem with horns and super tweeters are that they do not reproduce the entire frequency range, so you still need some sort of mid to back them up. Unless you don't wanna hear anything below about 1khz.
Also, don't just get some random cheap radio shack horns, they do sound like ***. They are like 10 bucks for a reason, a good horn to look at would be the Selenium D250-X horn driver, with the HC23-25 exponential horn.

where can i buy these? would i just be better off getting the four 6.5s?

i understand that, but im not worried on cheating, im worried on sounding very good. and having that good balance between voice and bass.

You really get what you pay for when it comes to horn drivers...If I were going to do horns I'd grab a set of ID mini-bodies and a pair of nice B&C horns.

partsexpress.com is gonna be your best place to browse pro audio mids and horns if you so want. I love running pro audio, it's a part of being in FL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Just be warned, it is no where near as smooth sounding as a truely good set of car audio components. And I will be upgrading again shortly when I redo the door panels. If you have more questions feel free to ask, I'll answer whatever I can .

A friend of mine does have the D-250X horns with the exponential horn I recommended earlier, and it works great. But, it doesn't play below 1000hz or so as per it's specs.

Also, if you were planning on putting these horns in your doors, stick with mids. Horns are quite deep, and I'd never be able to fit one in my door. Usually they are mounted under the dash or somewhere in the back.
