Super Frustrated...Plz Help!!

I have $10 via PayPal if someone can find a thread where Slick doesn't recommend Rainbow speakers!!!
And to answer your question about which are better the Pro's or OZ....it's impossible without defining 'better'. The OZ's where in an install which received a perfect score in a sound off competition.
basically which do you think would get louder and which do u think would sound better with hiphop/rap music

i know its an opinion....but im curious to know what you think..

The benefit of the Pro's is the higher power handling capabilities...the drawback is the the potential sharpness of the metal dome tweeter. You will not get a ton of midbass out of a 5.25" speaker.

If you want loud music, you need efficient speakers and/or a ton of power. This where the OZ's win.

My guess is that without proper tuning of your entire system and because I've never heard anyone listen to rap music softly, your call will probably sound like this: boom-tiss...boom-tiss...baboom-tis-tis....

That is what i think....and therefore I cannot be wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so in lamans terms.....which do u think would be the better option for me lol

nvm....i just went with the boston pro's.....i think they'll achieve what i want......i jus need to be able to hear the music/vocals over my bass and have some half way decent midbass

thnx for all the advice tho

do you guys want me to recommend infinity's or alpines for the same price range??? for ballin on a budget Rainbows are hard to beat. I do not strongly recommend anything besides slc's and germs (from Rainbow)because I have either: heard them extensively, or own them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif 99% of the threads where I post about Rainbows have a budget limited to the 2 aforementioned options. Anything above that I stay out of the thread...because I do not want to be like half the bums on here who recommend speaker sets without hearing them.

I have Pro60's and about that wattage and they are very loud. Very clear too, I would not give them up for anything and I have an 880PRS as well.
