Sundown

I totally understand about power output increase at higher voltage, but the OP who just needs something daily isnt going to run it at anything over 14.4. I'd still vote ya'lls amp. I love em //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

At regular daily voltages of 12.8 or so the 1500D still does over 1600 watts at a 1 ohm load based on tests that have ben ran by third parties.

i'd still take the sundown cause it'll do about the same power at 1ohm and can be bought for a lot cheaper:), and better build quality.
imo^
how do you figure that? they are all made by Zenon and more or less use the same parts

Thats what I thought so really it would be better for me to go with the alpine pdx then right? I'm not someone who is gonna be changing my stuff all the time I just want to get it set it and leave it alone. So I'm not too worried about being able to wire the amp down to 1 ohm or anything later. If it does 1000w rms I am happy. I just want something that will last, look decent and not require a whole lot of changes to my electrical system past the big 3 and a decent battery.

id get the dual 2 ohm Fi sub and the Alpine 1.1000, its one of the most efficient amps period and if one day it ever craps out on you, having the dual 2 ohm sub will probably get you more power for your money since most amps put out more power the lower the impedance.

hey, nice sig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks you like it. lol

Yeah I think I will go with the pdx-1.1000, one reason because it also matches my pdx-2.150 and they are stackable. It will look a lot better.
