Sundown z series 15?

I haven't run one, but know of them. I don't think you would want to put an AQ2200d on one at 1ohm. They are rated 1,000w rms and the AQ2200d should be giving you around 2,300 or 2,400 rms at 1ohm. I would get with Jacob at Sundown. He will tell you what it can handle. Might be okay for burps, but I wouldn't try playing music with more than double the rated rms of the sub.

You can run a 7kw amp if you want, you just have to set the gain appropriately and use common sense as to whether or not the sub is in danger. Most decent subs nowadays will reach mechanical limits before thermal limits when ported(which I assume you plan on doing), so as long as you're not physically ripping the sub apart you should be fine.
