The SA-12 is 26 lbs and this will only be a little bit lighter... I'll get more pics, specs, etc once it shows up and I have it in my hands.

what about the mounting depth.... most people only run 8 inch drivers because they are strapped for space, it cant be more than 5 inches deep or else you will lose all of your truck people.

That's my main concern right now.

My 8" box doesn't have much depth.

Does anyone know of any?

I'd like to run two 8'' in small sealed enclosures and couple them with all or part of the 4kW I have on tap. Heck, even 800rms power handling would be cool.

It'll be funny to see what numbers I can hit

Power handling is pretty limited on 8's because of the coil size restrictions. Can't fit a big coil in such a small sub.

Even the biggest ones I've seen/heard off are only capable of 400-500 RMS, maybe 1000 for burps.

Yes... USPS EMS service is being LAME and returned my box to the build house 4 times. So... they are using a different service and footing the bill for the difference for me so I'll get it before the end of time.
