i'd have to assume woofercooker has already e-mailed you about qc failures?-lol

lets hope there are not nearly as many qc failed x8s haha. Though I enjoy all of the people I have met and chatted with about box designs for x amount of e8s, I will be happy when they are all gone. I only have about 20 more to recone then I can take a break on them until more parts come in.

Motor force measure 40% higher than E8 (more SPL)... Qts came out lower than I was anticipating so it would not be as good of a sealed driver as the E8.

X8 F3 Sealed = 66 Hz

E8 F3 Sealed = 51 Hz

Testing will be forth coming... most to come once I get home from vacation.

I am starting over on the X8 from scratch... but I am working on an SA-8 for release prior.

Motor will be almost the same size as the SA-12 (little narrower) but for a 2" coil ** so we can get a good sized spider on it... will use cast 12-spoke frame and have all of the cooling features of the SA series.

Coil will be alot like the E8 but 33% longer + all the added cooling features of the SA series we will rate them 400-500 RMS.

** - This is why I am starting over on the X8. I didn't think the spider allowed enough throw with a 2.5" coil.

SA-8 will come in Dual-2 at first... four (1 ohm) or two (2 ohms) on an SAZ-1500D or one each on SAX-125.2 @ 4 ohms.

Also for SPL heads... burping two at 1/2 ohm on a 1500D.

Motor is 6.14" wide and 3.05" tall -- pretty beefy.
