Sundown vs Memphis

I've really been struggling to figrue out which amp I'm going to invest in. I finally feel as though I'm getting down to just a couple of brands. The two that I'm kind of torn between are the Memphis 16-PR1.1000 (the newer pr model) and the Sundown saz-1500D. Please help me. I'm going blind reading these forums. Also how does JBL's stuff compare to these two. thanks for all the help.

No comp. Sundown hands down, it will do rated power plus 200 watts at standard voltage. plus it is rock solid, and the best part is Customer service, Jacob is the BOMB

Oh dude, the Sundown 1500D is WAYYY better than the memphis 1000.
It's stable down below .5 ohms for one, puts out way more power too. The SAZ line is built tough. Def get the sundown if its between those 2.

What exactly are you wanting and what's your budget? Can't go wrong with the 1500D unless you're strapped for cash and need something cheaper.

you mean it's stable down to 0.5ohm? I wouldn't suggest anyone to go below that

this thread almost fails, and reason I say that...

You are comparing a 1000watt amp to a 1500 watt amp...well no shit the saz is going to be chosen over the pr. Thats an automatic given.

Not meaning to sound like an *** or whatever...but common sense would tell you that.

Memphis makes good amplifiers, but you'll get more from the Sundown. Also, 10000x better care for you as a buyer.

Go with the Sundown bossman

And yes, it is worth not having bump for a couple extra weeks to come up with the cash.

and this right here is one of the reasons I would choose sundown over the pr. The owner is here all the time to help and answer questions that u might have. Good luck on trying to do that with memphis.

Well, I dont think I'd go as far to say that another man gives me a boner, but sundown has nice products and dealing with jacob is awesome and hassle free.

The Memphis PR amp is comparable to the SAE-1000D from Sundown. The M-Class Memphis is the SAZ-1500D's competition.
