ive used both amps I am happier with the sq and output on the sundown, but the kicker was also a very good amp

so the sundown was noticeably louder and the sq was better? you got really good ears

I sold it a while ago, i got it at circuit city. its an audio-enhancers JUG12S, box designed for a mmats juggernaut. Unfortunatly, circuit city doesn't carry them anymore. but you can get them on ebay for like 150??

As to the original question; If the Kicker's offered the features and power you needed and they were more affordable than the Sundown's.....I'd go Kicker.
