Sundown SD-2 12d2 power handling

This is just kind of a feeler to see what you guys think. Looking to put a SD-2 wired to 1ohm in a sealed box in a 05 silverado and would like to put it on a CT Sounds 750d. I know Sundown subs are a bit under rated but was hoping to see what you guys thought. Is that to much power for that sub or would it be ok. This is for a buddy of mine he takes very good care of every thing he owns.... So it won't be beat on. Also any input on the sub in a sealed box would be great ......as of right now I have enough space for 1.2 cubes with a little space to go bigger if I needed.

Being a regular cab space is VERY limited..... I've build a few for regular cabs.... And I've nvr been satisfied with the results but the customer was that's what matters

I HAD a Sundown SD-2 12 in my single cab. My D2 took 900 watts+ @ 1 ohm for a while. Unfortunately I blew it and I am saving for a new one now. It was in a custom ported box 2.25 cubes tuned to 35 hz (sundown recommendation)
