Sundown SD 10" vs Alpine Type R 10"

I was going to put 2 sundown sa 10" in my truck but my installer is telling me that the magnet is to big, so he said to go with alpine type R 10" woofers, I was thinking mayby the Sundown SD would be a good fit?? I wanted the woofers to be front facing instead of down fire...

What do you guys think? Any input would be great, I would like to may a purchase asap...

The woofer or speaker as a whole wouldnt fit under the rear seat front facing.

I personally like sundown. What exactly are you trying to do? What kind of amp are you looking at to push the subs with? We need more details other than guy said magnet wouldn't fit. What type of car are we talking about?

going into a 2001 chevy 1500 ext cab. box going under rear seat woofers forward facing instead of down fire. I have a jl audio 1000.1 or can purchase another amp if needed.

The Sa was too big...not the Sd.

yeah he said the sa wouldnt work, but 2 10"sd would be ok.. never heard the SD's.

Why not do 4 8's under the seat in a ported box. They're a couple of us on here who will tell ya 4 8's slam. @mylows10; @sbarber82; and @double07;. Get a 3500w amp to put on the subs, get a bigger alt, do the big 3 and a nice set of components to run off another amp.
