sundown saz3000d capability?

Was wondering if anyone knew how much power the sundown 3000 could do with a yellowtop, kinetik 2400 and a stock alt (for now) for the electrical? I plan on upgrading the alt sometime this summer.

with an upgraded alternator you'd be fine, on stock...I doubt it.

sorry, it will be a 12 volt setup. My guess is somewhere around 14.8,15 volts

well, you'll probably still drop to low 12's once you start pushing it w/o a H/O alt. it will still be doing over 3kw @ 1 ohm

On the stock alt with those batteries you will see voltage drop but you can get by if you're conservative with your volume knob.

With a 200a alt you might drop from 14.4 into the 13s on heavy bass notes.

You will need at least two good batts in the back as well as a HO alternator to run @ 0.5ohm. Do not attempt it with your current electrical setup.
