sundown saz 1500

hey guys,

i have a sundown saz 1500 and im planning on running two DD 2510's to it. I am gettin a new alt as well. probably a 260 amp dc power. I have heard of people running the sundowns at .5 ohm daily. my electrical consists of 1 optima red top, 1 kinetic hc 2400, the big 3 in 1/0, and i will have an HO alt before i do this. would this be ok running it at .5 ohms daily?

yeh it should be fine. i run my 3250 at .5 with a stock alt

will be fine put in a well ventilated place though itll still run pretty warm

i have 2 runs of 0, a yellow top up front and an spv44 in the back my music stays above 12v for the most part but still dips below on full blast still waitin on my dc alt >

Get a volt gauge and keep an eye on it.

If you haven't got your subs yet, you should get 2 dual 4 ohm subs and run the amp at 1 ohm, that way you won't void the warranty. you won't gain that much power running it in .5 ohm, and you could possibly smoke your amp.

the amps a tank if he does his electrical upgrades he'll get his moneys worth that amp will not smoke unless a retarded mistake is made
