emailed you, can anyone else tell me what I should ask the install guy to look at besides doing the big 3?

should be fine if itust the amp that has an issue. Jacob can you fill us in? as it seems the problem is well known. Could it be a chronic issue with all of the 1200's?

No, it's not with all of them but I know exactly what it is if you get the squealing sound so I'm advising him to send it in.

I just got my used sax 100.4 from sundown it works perfect but I now know the EeeEeEE you were talking about but I get it if put my RCAs in like halfway (never heard it before.) but like I said it's fine just weird lol

got my the big 3 upgraded to 1/0 on my car today. The amp still overheats when the seat is up. The amp squeals then goes into protect when i leave the seat down, when the seat is down the amp isnt even that hot. I can keep my hand on it for over 10 seconds without feeling the burn. The install guys said the squealing is a bad capacitor within the amp, which is weird because I just go this amp two days ago.

its ur power supply coils in the amp have seen this with many amps...
