1. Product:

SAE-500D Prototype Amplifier

2. Specs:

500 x 1 @ 1 ohm, .5 stable. 2 40 amp fuses and strappable.

SAE-500D prototype size not counting power terminals and RCA connectors is only 9.5" wide x 1 7/8" tall x 9" long

1 ohm nominal - 60 Hz (two NS v.1 in ported box)

740 watts

40 v

18.5 A

2.16 ohms

0.5 nominal - 50 Hz (free air on Monster prototype v.1)

860 watts

36.5 v

23.56 A

1.54 ohms

Current Draw : 80 Amps on the dot

Voltage Drop : 14.6v to 14.0 v

Efficiency @ 14v : 76.7%

Has made within a few % of 860 watts anywhere from 50-60 Hz on the test woofer.

3. Description/Condition:

9/10 cosmetically/mechanically as it's a prototype, mint otherwise. Has a sundown audio decal on it but that can be removed in minutes, leaving a blank unlabeled amp. You could put your own logo on it/team logo, etc. Very underrated. Good amp for lower power classes as well. Don't miss out before I change my mind on it again.

4. What you are looking for/cash: :

200 shipped, trade toward bigger amps, etc.

just generally most production models differ from the protos. So this is the exact amp that he is releasing??
To be exact, the heatsink/case will differ, I have seen him say this in one of the threads about it prior. That's it. He is going more for a look of the other SAE models where as this heatsink/case doesn't match anything else like it. The 800D he has a proto of has the same type of case afaik.
