just got my lisence picked up the sundown sa12 for xmas cant be more please all i have to say lows get picked up amazing i love the back window flex and i only have 500watt amp i love it no ones walmart subs even compare to this = ] my brother has jl w7 and was amazed with how hard it hits next thing jl 1000 slash amp

Agree^^ but if you are young and money is a problem, I would look into a diff amp than the 1000/1.. unless you can find it for really cheap

**** JL audio. I run two custom Sundowns with hifonics amps and they slam like crazy. Some people hate on Hifonics like its dual or something but the **** is legit. My buddy has two 13 w7's and two kicker 1200zx (underpowered a bit) and my two sundowns on the brutus 2400 is like a night and day difference. He wants to trade lol

And yes he knows what he is doing his **** is done right and dont get me wrong its impressive but in the end JL **** is basically throwing a few extra hundred away that you could be spending on sound deadner, better subs, wiring, etc

Sundown SA 12's sound good and get loud too!! A friend got two on a Saz1500 in his hatch and the side window was beginning to break open
