Sundown sa-12 power question?

i was wondering if 2 sundown sa series 12s could handle 1500 watts at 1ohm? if not I could wire them to 2 ohm and my amp is 1100 at 2 ohm?

yeah they can take 1500 easy, seen a few folks running an aq 2200 to a pair.

I have put as much as 1500 rms on 1 sa they handle power very well just make sure you are sending an unclipped/clean signal to them and if they start to smell like burning glue back off of em lol.
