Sundown SA 10 or 12...

I can't decide!

I listen to a lot of rock, metal, electronic (mostly trap and dubstep), and some rap. I'm gonna put either sub in a ported box and run it off my Hifonics BRZ1200.1D that I have from my old build, but I'm not sure whether to get a 10 or 12. Space isn't so much an issue, but I do at least need to be able to fit my toolbox in the trunk with the sub (I drive a Jeep Cherokee XJ).

With that in mind, would a 10 or 12 be better? I've had two Type R 10s ported in a prefab (hated it), and currently have 1 Type R 10 sealed (it's not bad, but quiet). Now that I have Polk MM6501s amped, I need an upgrade for the sub.

Well I listen to 95% Dubstep and I just ordered 2 SA-12s today. After much research and discussion I feel like I made the right choice. They are going in a ported box tuned to 32 HZ running off my RF Prime 1200.1D. Get someone on here to design a box for you, its what I did. Buck is a genius at box building so I might give him a shot.

Get a pair of 12's or 15's.

I have had my SA-12s installed for a few days now. Pumping about 650W into each of them and they slam when they're in the right box. Could easily, so easily, handle A LOT more power. But that is my .02 now.
