How did you arrive at that cost for a ferrite motored sub?

No magnet costs anywhere near that much. Not even a neo motor would cost that much. Good luck with those nice drivers but ****..

keep in mind these are protos and you have cost,shipping here, cost to magnetize,and soft parts. do you have any idea what a 12 layer flat wound coil cost ? and keep in mind it is a 95LBS motor

Lulz. I wouldnt pay 1800 for a solid gold motor with a platnium coil and carbon fiber cone. Obviously these are not worth it. You are trying to pull those costs out when companies go through that everyday. You can offer them at whatever price you want but these wont be the loudest in the lanes and a higher price wont change that.

Even if it is a 12 layer flat wound and a 95 lb motor thats still wayy too expensive.
