Idk honestly. Didnt really do anything for volume or testing with it. Just used it to make sure my amplifier and this sub worked before i sold both of them.

How much room does the sub need (sealed and ported)? How's the SQ on this thing? I'm putting together a SQ system so SPL isn't as important.

I dont know and i dont know. You can email sundown for that info. I purchased it new because i was going to do a budget system, changed mind, and hooked it up just to make sure it played.

These things are $130 shipped on eBay, directly from SSA.

EDIT: If I got this for $90, I'd definitely be sold. However, I'm guessing you'll want more than that from a $130 subwoofer. I'll think about what I can pay for it right now.
