- ported in the trunk, sub(s) back, port back.

1. Have more output

2. Better low end

First off I would probably put 1200 to the 8s lol. I havent heard an sa12 but I know that my two sa8s would do 140s on the TL. I had them in a box tuned to 30 for daily and how no trouble reaching the low end. They sound about as clean as ever, some of the cleanest drivers I have ever run as far as subs go. Either of those choices would be good for daily.

i would do the 2 8s. im telling ya after they are broke in the dig down as low as most 12s...

Well i was looking to buy this summer. I might pick up the new v.2's when they come out

Tune the box to 33-35, I had mine to 30 but I didnt have a big enough port for them to reach up high. I had them in a box with an aero once and they still get really low even when tuned to the mid 30s. SA-8 =s my favorite all around woofer. Ive had them doing spl and sql and just abusing them, had a pair of them on numerous equations and my buddy now has four, You wont be sad about output.

If I were to grab another pair Id put them in 1.6 tuned to 33 on 1500rms for the pair.

The size of the sub is the least determining factor in its ability to play low or not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Cone area will affect how loud you can get, but never how low.

the larger the sub normally the more mass which lower fs. look at a sub line from 8-18" the fs is lower the larger cone size you get into..
