Sundown audio x15d2 v2 question..???

Hello guys I have a question bout my new sundown audio sub... Jus got a new 15" x series version 2... O man subs looks freaken awsome... But wen I looked at the coil I noticed its black and not like shinny cooper like new subs should be..??? To Sundown... Or for those that have a x series version 2 or 15 x series v2 is it supposed to be blk.. Please lmk.. I'm trippen and stressing over this... Thank u...

It's just a coating over the VC I do think, to keep the coil cool during high wattage.

Have you hooked it up test it see if it works?

You gotta lemme know how that v2 is. If I don't like the v1's I may sell them and get the version 2's instead.

Like I said, test it and you'll know for sure if it doesn't work or not.

A simple battery test too if your unable to test it from an amp. Any battery will work. Just make sure both coils are "wired"

You'll see the cone move upward. If you see if move downward, reverse the + and - on either terminals.
